Andrew is currently working as Lighting and Set Designer on the brand-new 30th anniversary UK tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and shared valuable insight into his creative process, taking students through how a large-scale production evolves from page to stage.

The cast, joined by the BOA student ensemble, performed a fun and interactive session for families, spreading a little of the magic and laughter from their hit pantomime. Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, the Prince, and a host of other characters delighted children and parents alike, creating unforgettable moments for families facing challenging times.

This year’s outcomes reflect the hard work, creativity and commitment of our students:

• 88% of students achieved at least five GCSE passes at grade 4 and above, including English and Mathematics.

• 95% of students achieved grade 4 or above in English.

• 90% of students achieved grade 4 or above in Mathematics.

• Across the whole Year 11 cohort, 92% of students achieved the Department for Education benchmark of five or more standard passes – substantially surpassing national figures.

This marks the tenth magical Christmas production that The BOA Group has proudly produced at The Old Rep, and this year’s show promises to be the most spectacular, spellbinding, and side-splitting yet – bursting with laughter, music, festive cheer and unforgettable moments for audiences of all ages.

Dr Morris brings with him nearly two decades of leadership experience in secondary education, having served as Vice Principal of a large secondary school in Staffordshire and, most recently, as Headteacher of a school in Warwickshire. His career spans four local authorities and three multi-academy trusts, giving him a broad and deep understanding of school leadership, curriculum design, teaching and learning, assessment, and behaviour management.
