The post holder will maintain and manage industry-standard equipment, studios, editing suites and digital resources, ensuring all facilities are safe, organised and fully operational to support an engaging and professional learning environment for students aged 16–19. The role will involve supporting all stages of media production, including filming, lighting, sound, editing and post-production activities. 

Results are excellent with at least 96% of KS4 students achieving the top grades (Dist/Dist*) on the BTEC Level 2 Tech Award last year. Similarly, 82% of students in Year 13 achieved at least Distinction, Distinction, Distinction (or higher) for their BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting).

The department is experienced and supportive of teachers and students alike. We are ambitious for our students and work collaboratively to ensure all learners are passionate about the subject and achieve well. The Acting Department benefits from dedicated teaching studios and a spacious work area for staff, as well as the use of BOA Theatre and external venues for annual productions.
