BOA Group Celebrates Outstanding A Level and Vocational Results as Students Progress to Top Universities, Apprenticeships and Creative Careers

Students across the BOA Group are celebrating another year of exceptional A Level, BTEC and vocational results with young people progressing to leading universities, specialist training providers, prestigious apprenticeships and professional opportunities across the UK's creative industries.

At both BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy and BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, students achieved outstanding academic success, reflecting their talent, determination and the dedication of staff committed to preparing the next generation of creative professionals.

Exceptional Achievement at BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy

BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy is celebrating an exceptional year of results, with 63% of students achieving the highest possible BTEC grade of Triple Distinction Star (DDD*), equivalent to three A* grades at A Level.

An impressive 97% of students achieved Triple Distinction (DDD) or above, equivalent to three A grades at A Level, while 95% achieved at least one Distinction Star. Students studying A Level qualifications also recorded a 100% pass rate, with 79% of grades awarded at A-C.

The academy, which offers specialist pathways in Acting, Dance, Games Art & Design, Music, Music Technology, Musical Theatre, Social Media Design, Marketing & Radio Podcasting, and Visual Art & Design, continues to combine vocational excellence with strong academic outcomes.

Among the highest achievers were Rosie Brookes, Megan Roberts and Tasha Alcock, who each achieved the equivalent of five A Levels by combining outstanding BTEC results with additional A Level qualifications.

Rosie achieved DDD* in Musical Theatre alongside an A* in Media Studies and a B in Mathematics. Megan achieved DDD* in Musical Theatre, an A* in Mathematics and a B in History, while Tasha achieved DDD* in Dance alongside A grades in Media Studies and English Literature.

Their achievements highlight the ambition, resilience and commitment demonstrated by BOA students as they prepare for the next stage of their education and careers.

BOA Stage and Screen Students Progress into the Industry

Students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy also celebrated exceptional outcomes, with learners securing places at some of the UK's leading industry training providers and employers.

At Level 3, the academy achieved a 100% pass rate in BTEC qualifications. A remarkable 97% of students were awarded high grades equivalent to three A grades at A Level, while 83% achieved the maximum possible grade equivalent to three A* grades.

Level 4 students also achieved a 100% pass rate in UAL qualifications, with 79% awarded high grades of Merit or Distinction.

These results have translated into impressive progression opportunities across the screen industries. Vanshika has secured a BBC Post Production Apprenticeship at The Mailbox in Birmingham, while Rufus has been accepted onto the prestigious National Film and Television School Assistant Camera Course. AJ will join Birmingham Film Studio as a Production Trainee, and James has secured a Production Assistant Apprenticeship with Big Button TV.

Eta has already gained professional experience as a Runner on the latest series of Great British Menu, while seven learners will progress to Level 5 study at MetFilm School. Other students have secured places at leading higher education institutions, including the University of Leeds.

Across the BOA Group, students benefit from extensive industry engagement, live projects, performances, exhibitions and collaborations that provide valuable professional experience alongside their studies.
