Cover Supervisor

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Cover Supervisor to join a committed team, working alongside staff and leaders to support high standards of teaching and learning across the academy.

As a Cover Supervisor, the postholder will play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence, supervising lessons and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. This is a role for a confident and proactive individual who can manage a classroom effectively, build positive relationships with students, and uphold high expectations for behaviour and engagement.

The successful candidate will support students in developing independence, resilience and responsibility for their learning. Through strong classroom presence and clear communication, they will ensure that students remain focused, complete work to a high standard and are supported to succeed.

In addition to covering lessons, the role includes supporting small group interventions and providing mentoring for identified students, helping to remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes.

With a commitment to education and a passion for working with young people, the postholder will contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are supported to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is driven to make a meaningful impact within the classroom and across the wider academy.

The Group believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners—to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first-rate educational environment with excellent facilities, outstanding teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. You will benefit from strong leadership, a collaborative staff culture, and opportunities to develop your skills and experience within education.

If you share the Academy Trust’s vision and ambitions, are committed to supporting young people, and thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
