BOA Trust is seeking an exceptional and motivated Senior Finance Officer to join its dynamic finance team, working under the guidance of the Chief Finance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial operations of a thriving multi-academy trust, supporting three innovative academies that are at the forefront of creative and academic excellence.
With responsibilities spanning financial management, reporting, audit, compliance, and administration, the successful candidate will contribute directly to the Trust’s continued success and integrity. This position offers variety, challenge, and the chance to make a meaningful impact across the BOA Group, with occasional travel to different academy sites as needed.
We are looking for a finance professional who is not only experienced — preferably with a background in the education or academy trust sector — but also proactive, detail-oriented and highly organised. Strong IT and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure. In return, BOA Trust offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where talent is recognised and nurtured.
For those working towards a Professional Accountancy Qualification, the Trust will provide support to help you complete your training and achieve full qualification. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a progressive and values-driven organisation.
The Group believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners - to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first-rate educational environment with excellent facilities, outstanding teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. You will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills.
If you are an outstanding financial professional and share the Academy Trust’s vision and ambitions, possess a strong desire to work within an ethos of creative collaboration and partnership and want to have a positive impact on young people, families and the community then we would be delighted to hear from you.
