BOA Group Announces Festive Collaboration for 2026 Christmas Production

The BOA Group is delighted to announce an exciting new chapter in its annual Christmas celebrations, as students from BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy and BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy come together for to present a spectacular production of A Christmas Carol.

Taking place at BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy’s theatre, this year’s show marks the beginning of a new collaborative tradition — and an exciting new journey for the BOA Group. As the 11th home-produced Christmas show, this production signals a new era, bringing together the talents of students across both academies to create a truly magical festive experience.

Step into a world of Christmas magic! Ebenezer Scrooge embarks on a wondrous journey guided by the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future. Along the way, he discovers the joy, kindness, and celebration that make the season so special. This enchanting musical is packed with sparkling songs, spectacular dance numbers, and heartwarming moments for the whole family.

With colourful sets, festive cheer, and a touch of holiday wonder, this vibrant production brings a fresh, playful twist to the classic tale. Perfect for children and adults alike, it’s a joyful adventure full of laughter, music, and the magic of Christmas.

Performances will run from Monday 30th November to Tuesday 15th December 2026, with a mix of morning performances for schools and evening shows for the general public.

School performances will offer a unique enhanced experience, including interactive workshops led by BOA students before or after the show (depending on the day). Evening audiences can enjoy a festive pre-show atmosphere, featuring a seasonal gallery and live choir performances in the academy’s atrium, alongside festive refreshments.

This production is entirely student-led, showcasing the exceptional talent across the BOA Group. Students from BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy will take responsibility for set design, props, costume, hair and make-up, as well as lighting and sound. The on-stage ensemble will be formed of students from BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy.

The production’s creative team is formed of experienced BOA staff from across both academies, further strengthening this exciting collaboration. From BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, the team includes Maddy Scott (Head of Production), alongside Dan Roblin, Ceridwen Gale Brown and Luke Johnson. Representing BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy, Georgie Meller will serve as Director of Musical Theatre, joined by creative team members Daniel Summers, Beth Jones, Tim Harding, Alice Scott, Lucy Lowe and Darcey Luscombe.

Tickets for school performances, which include workshops, will be priced at £11.50 per student, with teachers attending free of charge. Evening performance tickets for the general public will be available at £16.50.
